I doubt theres a special audio format for winamp as they are all mp3s or WMA or good old WAV so as long as u have the codec it should just play fine in Windows Media Player..........
Take some advice and stick to winamp.........

Winamp music files? Here's your tip to playing them with WMP, open up WMP, drag your music on to it, voila!
Edit: Alright, here's the deal. Open up WMP 9, go to "media library", hit the "add" button at the top and search your computer. Then they will all be in a list if you click on "all music" and you can make playlists etc. from there.

:devil Yup when you installed Winamp you associated your mp3s to be play automatically by Winamp. So now you have to associate them with WMP so they will play with WMP automatically.
