There is no beta out yet! And no reliable rumors...

Perhaps Jorge should ask them for a new interview, it seems that he one of the few persons who got some infos!

I can't wait to see a new xolox, maybe a bit more enhanced UI would be nice, because the downloads worked great, just click a file and let it finish on its own, im sure other programs will have this soon with download mesh and so on but the other programs are getting bad (bearshare, limewire), not going to bash them for what they do because it doesnt accomplish anything but i just dont prefer their product anymore, when i download anything now which isnt often i use bearshare because its quick but thats about it, so to make a long post short cant wait until xolox is back.

Yeah, if there's one thing XoloX has always been is this: Relentless. You could always trust it to get stuff in the end. Most of the other clients have caught up on that front now, but fair play to the big X for being there first.

I just wish they's stick hashing and weblinks into it, and I'd be in P2P heaven.

Put me down for 0 of 3 lol, only used xolox a handful of times but it sounds the most promising for gnutella so i'll keep my fingers crossed.

All it needs is a little push, and you got yourself the slickest client out there. I dont know what everyone's one about as far as the UI is concerned, I always thought it was Zen-like in its minimalism. Did what it had to do, did it well. What do I need 8 tabs of crap for if the application is excellent as it is? Let's hope they keep it clean.

Well I must say the thing i liked about bearshare was the neat little info it had, host addresses, country, and so on, but now that is gone, no more block-ip function, the list goes on lol. I dont dl anything from gnutella to be honest, i just get all the new music when it comes out on irc then share it on gnutella, hey someone has to do it and its neat to see someone sharing files that only you had at one point hehe, prefferably I use the program with the neatest info on the upload page, at the time it was bearshare, xolox didnt give much info on uploads, nor did limewire or gnotella, or any toher program, so for now i use gnucleus which gives me enough info i guess and the ultrapeers work great too. So that is what i meant by a better UI I guess, maybe not more tabs but more info to look at.

We can only hope, but so far I haven't come across one rumour that can be substantiated. Plenty of good signs but, let's face it, you can never really tell wether someone's taking the piss, can you?

Like the 'team xolox' message said , within the next day or two. For some www.xolox.nl already shows, for others it doesn't depending on your dns server since its in the process of propogating . As with the release of any beta there are always issues to be ironed out and even before giving beta testers the chance to take a crack at it, get known the major bugs fixed.
XoloX is alive, thats for certain. :)

Yeah PM's went out, I responded and... nothing. Needless to say I had to acquire XoloX by other means.

Beta 2's the one that's been around for ages. Don't think there even was a beta 1.

Still, nice of the cows to make it available.
