i basically use the k++ theatre (which i believe uses wmp) and i use windows media player with the nimo codec pack. works fine for me. if you're looking for an alternative to wmp, try zoomplayer. if you want to know where to d/l it from, google or yahoo it. but i just use wmp since for me it gets the job done.

This is what I would have recommended. Hell even Winamp 2.9 is mroe than adequate.
Most of the time, though I use WMP9. :)

You should consider using media player classic

well i use one of three programs (in order of use)
core media player (availible at doom9.org)
winamp 2.9 (winamp.com)
WMP 6.4 (just type "mplayer2" in start->run)
note that i used to use the BSplayer, which most likely beats all three of those down, but i had some problems with it (iavailible also at doom9.org)

If you want to watch movies from your PC, buy a good telly.
Then switch it off, and find a real person with a real problem.
Microsoft is anti-piracy, Kazaa is pro-piracy.
Find a good player, and if movies don't work use Nimo codec pack to patch windows.
If Seattle bother you, claim it's nothing to do with drugs, but you quite like vegtables.
