I was editing my "opennap" servers by going through them and seeing anything which said "host not found", and removing it. The freezing is pretty serious if you have active internet traffic going, because it stops it all. In my case, I am also running an OpenNap server, so it stops responding (but fortunately doesn't kick everybody off) when WinMX freezes up. So what I discovered in the process of getting ready to hit Ctrl-Alt-Del, is that the Ctrl button by itself works for unfreezing when held down for a second or two. Your prompt which is supposed to come up ("are you sure you want to remove the XXXXX network?") then comes up and your computer won't be frozen up. If WinMX keeps freezing up like this it is best to restart it, but at least this provides an alternative for you so that you can finish modifying your servers list.
