The other day I put a perfectly good audio CD (a mates actually) into the computer and copied some filmclips off it, thats was all good. I then decided to listen to the songs on the CD and started to play them through Winamp, except they juz wouldn't play. I took the CD out and had a geeze at it, although I knew it wasn't scratched or dirty as i checked it before. Too my surprise, i found this huge crack running from the inside of the CD to about 3/4 out. I waz like WTF?? I came to the conclusion that the CD must have had a small crack in the inner part of the CD, and because CD drives spin so fast, it must have made the crack grow. I was so astonished as I had just previously played it with no problem in my Sony MP3 CD player. So im guessing the Lite-on-it 48X24X48 was the culprit.
Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them??
