Syp all,
I just wanted toa ask for those of you who play with Nero's settings. For creating AudioCDs what fileters do u use and what settings (the default). I usually use the hiss remover and the normalize with the defaults.
cheers.

awesome!
no replies. there was nobody to tell me to shut the hell up and burn files as they are and not use any filters?
Its OK.
I am thinking of switching to Feurio for AudioCDs, too. Its considered the best for that purpose.

Nero does a good job creating audio CDs. Much, much better than EZCD, imo.
As for the filters I use, I almost always use the "normalize" filter if I am burning any downloaded mp3s. I want to keep the total volue levels of the CD about the same. Mp3s can vary alot.
The only other filter I've used in Nero would be the "Fade In"/"Fade out" filters. I don't use those much.

I tried using Nero to burn CDA's but it always produced a CD that wouldn't play. Standard CD player says the CD is not finalized. But I check off the Finalize CD box when burning.

i got the (unofficial) dll to use nero to burn ogg to audio cd's, and that is super useful--put it in the nero dir and boom, ogg to audio conversion via drag and drop
oggs suddenly are useful to me
look for the filename NXMYogg.dll, its worth the search
