Edonkey2000 .46 vs Emule/Emule+

ok is which one of these are better, edonkey with overnet, or emule/emule+
i was thinking the new edonkey b/c it uses overnet also. so anyone knows which one is better and quicker downloading. thanx

For some reason I still get noticably faster downloads off of emule and I have heard others say the same thing. It would help if emule would implement overnet sometime soon.

While overnet would be a boon to the eMule community, it's not really necessary if they keep increasing DL/UL compatability with the individual hybrid clients.

Yes ed2k does but it is optional so you have to select no to all the extra stuff it wants you to install. but I like emule better because it seems to find much more sources faster.

i use overnet since emule/emule plus is buggy and since edonkey has spyware/adware. is the hybrid stable and good? i'm thinking of trying it.

I'd like to here some more opinions or experiences with the edonkey/overnet hybrid also.

I haven't bothered going back to edonkey as emule is so much better. One thing one has to pay attention to with all the emule mods and emule itself, is sometimes a new version is actually worse than a previous version.

So keep a few older versions on hand. I am having such good luck with one of the older mods ( V0.24b 4 plus) I don't even feel like changing up.

eMule does fix corrupt parts, plus it makes up about 90% of the "donkey" community.

It tracks credits differently than the traditional eMule credit system does. Google it, and you'll find some informational sites.

I use Overnet 0.48 ... it's serverless and source it's good ...
This in Italy ... i dont know Overnet in the rest of world ...
