What do you think will happen to the communication networks including the Internet now that Iraq is being bombed by the US according to www.cnn.com

my guess is that iraq isn't exactly a major player in telecommunications. So unless you mean communication w/in iraq, my guess is nothing is going to change as far as communication goes.

I think that they will all be full of content related to death and explosions. Should make a great movie.

Hay do they have a forum there at www.cnn.com? Maybe they would have some opinions with a little more depth.

PS: They don't appear to, here have one from yahoo (http://post.news.messages.yahoo.com/bbs?.mm=NEWS&action=l&ft=1&board=37138445&sid=37138445&title=In%20swirling%20sand%2C%20U.S.%20troops%20ma ke%20last-minute%20preparations%20for%20invasion%0A&tid=apiraqustroops&date=03-19-2003&url=db1.news.dcx.yahoo.com%2Fnews%3Ftmpl%3Dstory%2 6u%3D%2Fap%2F20030319%2Fap_to_bu%2Firaq_us_troops_ 1&.sig=KxF8Xo9vmQV0nw0UdMjoLQ--) instead. They know all about it, hurry before they pull the switch.

Doesn't look good, the Pentagon has even threatened to kill their British allies.

The Pentagon has threatened to fire on the satellite uplink positions of independent journalists in Iraq, according to veteran BBC war correspondent, Kate Adie. In an interview with Irish radio, Ms. Adie said that questioned about the consequences of such potentially fatal actions, a senior Pentagon officer had said: "Who cares.. ..They've been warned."

The story (http://www.gulufuture.com/news/kate_adie030310.htm).

Can't be bringing the reality of warfare (http://www.thememoryhole.org/war/thisiswar/) into the living rooms - collateral damage is a statistic, it's not supposed to have a face.

You are thinking of the days when having your signal "fired on" was necessarily fatal. This (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20030319/ap_on_re_mi_ea/e_bomb_5) doesn't need to be so crass.

Looks like CNN is staying behind there as well?
