CJ - I don't think juno or netzero are free anymore. I think they are charging $9.95/month now.

I found cheap internet that I use.. it's called TalentG for only $9.99 a month.. unlimited access.. no pop-ups. no banners. just good cheap internet. but I only pay $7.99 a month cause I signed up when it was only $7.99 a month but now it's $9.99 but it's still great www.talentg.com great internet access I think.. I've tried it on windows 98, windows 2000, and windows me, and it works on all those so far.

I saw a commercial recently and they were talking about that 9.95 charge. I didn't know they were still offering a free service.

yes, richard, they netzero only allows 10 hours for free, after that you have to wait to the next month to use it again for free.:wings

10 hours?!? I would use that in one afternoon. Doesn't sound like much of a deal. I was gonna look into those services for my mother but now I think I'll pass.

I think the operative word there is HAD, I too "remember the days" when we not only had tons of free internet options but TONS of free services in general, yeah before all the commercialism, greed, and regulation took hold. Let's just hope, pray and work to try and reverse things a little, hopefully pandoras' box isn't all the way open and irreversible.
IE.... stop .NET before its too late.
