WinMX With My Satellite internet, any help?

Well I am trying to get results to show up on WinMX with my satellite internet. But nothing pops up. People can upload from me but i just can't get any results. And I am set up under primary connection since the satellite is a lan, but i did try the other connection option too, but didn't work.

I am behind no firewalls yet, and my computer is running normal.

I know a lot of people here don't like winmx, but it is an okay program, i find what i need on it.

but if I could get any help, that would help me a lot. Thanks

Wow after I posted I went back to winmx and result finally came up! wow winmx is very slow.

I dunno if i wanna use it if it is going to be this slow.

Could be high latency, that is often a problem with sattelite connections.

Do you use any other p2p apps? Do you have any good results with anything else?

I remember you asking about this before you got satellite. I believe I mentioned the idea that your up and download was not in sycnh therefore it could be problematic.

Let me know if you have any success. I may need a satellite connect wether I like it or not :(
