i tried to download a song... guess what, almost every single file i download r either a fake(means it's another music) or some low quality shit or has some shit noise in it... has this happened to any1?

what product are you using? some networks are more infested than others.

Also a good idea to delete the name of what you were downloading I expect.

Well, Bmonk is using Kazaa one would assume. So far, I have not ever downloaded a fake file. The files have always been what they said they were.

i'm using kazaalite k++

don't worry they can't possibly sue me for grabbing 1 file while there's millions of ppl leeching zillions of files

Yes I'm sorry I think I'm drifting off to sleep. Kazaa and its little cousins on the same network have never given me a bad file at all ... sorry I couldn't be more helpful, ask me this question in a gnutella/g2 forum sometime and I will tell you horror stories :mellow

I use WinMX with Openap and I never get fakes, It's easy to pick them out just check the filesize especially if it had multiple users, the more with the same file the less likely it's a fake.:cross

no... i'm talking about bad quality files. they have noise/beep here or there

download 192kbs quality files or above. these tend to have been ripped by better apps and more knowledgable ppl. i haven't had any glitches in many a month touch wood.
