can anybody help me please? I am very new to p2p and trying out kazaa lite. the problem is that my download speed is about 3.5kb/s and it takes me about 60 hours to download a movie, i share over 1500 files (all ihave) and use a dial up (aol). please help as i have 1 phone line (always engaged!).

Well my friend, That is about the fastest speed your gunna get on AOL. so your in for a very long wait. or get something faster, like Cable or DSL, then you will get great speeds on kazaa.

thanks, that explains it (i've only had my pc 3 weeks)and i know i'm a greenhorn ha! ha! what speed do you think i would get with 1mb broadband? do you have any tips in the mean time as it takes 10 days in u.k to get broadband connection? thanks for the advice as most people have just taken the piss!! now i know why ha! ha!

Nope, It no longer connects, but you can still try it at: www.projectfasttrack.com although, it'd be pretty pointless.
@ianh, Lets just say this, You'll get better speed then you have now. NOTE: With a 1MB connection, you'd get 1MB per second, so i hope that clears things up a little.

Morpheus 1.3 Preview Edition? from www.oldversion.com is that the one you mean. It is already Gnutella, so this is after they where kicked from FastTrack. This program looks like it is gnucleus based....
