Since v2 of kazaa came out, the history of searches has been stored in the registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\Kazaa\Search. Unfortunately it's encrypted and I've not been able to decrypt. I can't figure out the scheme... Obviously it's not one way as kazaa has to reverse it at load time. Does anyone know how decrypt these files??? My email is rleatzow@hotmail.com. Plz contact me if you do. btw, the intent of this is for forensics use, i.e. eliminating child porn.

If you want your search history cleared in KaZaA, just click on "Purge Searches". Answer yes to the prompt and your search history will be cleared.
