I'm trying to burn a Mp3 cd for a MP3 cd player but I can't control the order I want them to go in. I'm using Nero Express to drag and drop Mp3's into the burn list but It rearranges them each time, either by grouping all the like file names together by numbers or alphabetically. You can toggle the album button to get them back into there like albums but then it arranges the album names alphabetically. You can't move the files around individually on the list either. Is there any way to keep them in the order I put them in without having to rename all the Mp3's from 01....100...etc?

You can use the sort features that I circled, thats the only way I know of
I was pretty dissapointed when making my mp3 cd also...the options suck, and you can't preview high bitrate songs

The same thing happens to me so I just burned them with Nero Burning Rom. You got it with Nero Express (well actually Express is a add on to Nero Burning Rom.) But anyway with Burning Rom when you put them in order they stay in order.

I don't think its possible to make an MP3 cd in the rom version, if there's an option, please point it out
I know you can make normal cds in there just fine...

First start Nero Express chosing MP3 CD, then when it gets to the part where you add the files switch to Nero - Burning ROM, then add your files, it'll burn fine.

Put all of your MP3s into seperate folders. I only burn complete albums, and if the songs are all numbered they will play in exactly the order as the original album (having them all tagged with the same numbers helps also, but I don't think it's necessary with Nero Express. If you were doing a mix just label the folder My Mix or whatever and add the complete folder. Folders will be sorted alphabetically of course. Or if all your folders were mixed MP3s maybe just # the songs in each folder and # the folders in the order you wanted them to play. Or alternately put them all in one single root folder and # them in your preferred order. Hope that helps!

I've experimented with it lots: toggling to Burning Rom still rearranged my order like Express. Numbering folders in the order you want works, assuming the player will read them that way, and would be the easiest way to keep order (Express or Burning Rom).
Initially I numbered 120 songs from 1-120 and added them without any folders. When I added in Express it came to 696.9MB, when I added in Burning Rom (after toggling) it came to 740.9MB. Add in Express, toggle to Burning Rom and it stays 696.9MB. So I'd only use Express.
