her name was nicky dee
or nicky d she had a good blend of rap music with dance beats
i dont know the record company that she was affiliated with. I do know it was a promotional album in 1989 or 1990. One of her singles was I am going to make you mine.
Unfortunately she died in the year 1991. I dont know the exact year but her music was cool.
If someone remembers this artist post information. She lived in nyc and she was cool. I want to buy her album. *yeah I wanna buy it*.

if she's dead why buy it? it's not like she can use the money, and the record companies sure don't need any more money

Because I need help.I have searched countless times for this artist on various search engines. If i have to pay for the album I will. I just need to know the name of the record company that she had a contract with.
AT the time her album was a promotional tape given to me.

We do buy a LOOooot records of dead artists. They seem to arice up just after the death with some collection-CDs like "20 best" or "im memoriam" etc...
Our laws gives the possibility for the lak / relatives to get some dime of the money outta those sold / played out with copyright (still the record companies takes the 90+ percent...)
I like a few death finnish artists like "Albert Jarvinen", who was a real guitar virtuose referred as a "God of Guitar" in one movie made out of him and the original band "Remu & The Hurriganes" - sure ukn sht for most of You, but they did some success at sweden and vere at tour in Brittain (and once in U.S. warming Pink Floyd before the masters themselves took the audience...)
