I was wondering what is the best program to convert mp3 files and burn them in the CD-DA format so that they're playable in car and home systems. I've downloaded a couple of programs that were adverised as being able to carry out these functions, but i've yet to have any luck. I currently have dBpowerAMP, Windows Media Player and WinAmp. I'm still rather new at P2P so maybe I don't know how to use these programs correctly.

EAC is freeware and can burn your cd's.
It is the best really. Just take your time and check it out as it has lot's of functions.
It can normalise your sound tracks and get rid of glitches.
Also it's the best ripper around.
If it seems difficult at first just come back here for help.

Exact Audio Copy, search for it on yahoo by the name of EAC.
If you find it difficult get acoustica mp3 cd burner, it's very easy to use and does not cost much.

Try out Easy CD Creator by Adaptec. It's what I started on. The interface is simple and more self-explanatory than most of the other programs I've tried. It's also easy to arrange files on the disc because you drag and drop mp3 files from a directory and it shows you how much time is taken up by each song.
