This is toward moe_fx, I have no idea if you will ever get this, but I really don't care, I need to vent my frustration somehow, this guy keeps banning me from a certain hub, even though I follow all their listed rules, he keeps coming up with some obscure BS rule to ban me with, I am not a leecher and what I take I always give back. This guy has given others problems as well so I'm not the only one, as far as I know he's some German Elitist fu*k (or so I've been told) either way this guy needs to seriously get a life and stop banning ppl for obscure BS when all they are trying to do is help the community and build their collection at the same time. I hate to be an ass about stuff, but shit like this just really pisses me off, so as far as I'm concerned this guy can eat a dick, BTW sorry if this offends ne one, I'm not really into flaming or negative stuff like that, but this guy is really annoying, now that that's been said I now realize how pointless that was, but I'm too lazy to delete it all, O well, lol

That stuff pisses me off too! Don't sweat it, the guy is probably some dumbass with no life, friends, and probably has an abnormally small penis, so he makes up for it by trying to be a "Mr. Big Stuff" mod.

Two words: power trip.
I have ran into a few jerkoffs (that is a literal description) like that myself. In long run an attitude like that prevents new blood from coming into a hub and kills it eventaully.

I have a couple of suggestions that might be helpful. The one would be to separate chatting and opinion-shooting and so forth from the downloading process, this helps keep me out of trouble.
But taking a wider view I would say leave that particular hub and find another way, there are a lot of ways. Where I live we have a saying: "If you don't like the weather ... MOVE."

I take it this person is only an OP, not the hub owner. I this is the case, and the owner values his hub and and the people who actually make it work, ie the sharers, he would be wise to give this egomaniac some instructions in manners.

the thing is that I don't chat at all, and I would love to move, but there are no other hubs like this, at least none that I am aware of, I even did a search on google (slim chance, I know) and got nothing, so if other hubs like this exist I don't know about them, so I'm stuck w/ this one and now I don't even have that 'cuz of this guy, O well, I guess I just have to wait for my ISP to generate a new IP for me, again

Avoid that hub.
I also try to keep a low profile in DC. I connect to a hub in which I either have found content using MoSearch or I just wanted to connect to that hub for whatever reason. I download/upload for whatever amount of time, making sure not to cut uploaders off and if I have to, I PM them about it and maybe return to the hub later to finish it.
What I try not to do too much is chatting. And if I chat, it's usually to answer a question somebody asked that I know the answer to. Mindless chatting may complicate things. If I can, I don't chat at all.
EDIT: Hm, I read you're last post. I see you're problem. What I do suggest is that if you are looking for a specific file or type of file, or something like that, I recommend you use a search program like MoSearch. MoSearch also lets you search by User Name so if you have an unfinished download, you can search to see if that user is connected to another hub you can get into.

this guy, moe_fx, is a mod in 2 hubs, I still have access to the other hub, I don't know why he chose one over the othe instead of kicking me out of both, makes no sense to me, but anyway, I am avoiding the hub for a bit just to lay low, but it is really sad that I have to play this game, DC is a double edged sword, it is really good as far as details go in the P2P world, but it also lets ppl go on power trips and play favorites or whatever you wanna call it, but I guess you can't have one w/ out the other, I am really tempted to flame the hell out of this mod in the one remaining hub just for satisfaction, but I know that will get me nowhere, but it is tempting, now that I think of it, no one would probably be on my side 'cuz they would get kicked also, see what I mean, this shit can be really fucked up, ha ha, its like P2P tyranny, this sucks, but at the same time it's sort of funny, lol

look to my waste vs dc thread
this is typical power-over leads to abuse always as shown in behavioral studies at all the major universitys and occupied contries
id warn against using labels to these cogs and instead building networks that are egalitarian free of 'rules' where you can share how you want with who you want.
as a dc admin and mod i see it as very important the value of anti-authoritarianism leadership thats accountable and transparent. piracy is a form of anarchist anticapitalist action very original.
as you please with who you please & as you dont with who you dont. power to all or power to none.
as you find it funny you realize jokes are voilence and laughter helps medicate your uncomfortability sending those happy endorphines thru you
