I got the WORM_BUGBEAR.A
And i cleaned it and my hard drive keeps like searching for information
Any ideas. This did not happen until this worm came on to my pc
Any help would be great

Yeh i scanned my pc using Trend Pc cillin 8 times now and it has not come up again once.
Did you have the same hard drive problem i keeps like looking for data even when the pc is idle
I have no idea why it does it
Any ideas

Just do a search on Google for the virii name you already posted....
Then go over ALL that it shows you, check the reg...check for odd files in different folders. Sort by date and look for stuff created on the infection date. Check for stuff that has no creation date....
Just cuz you scan doesn't mean the A/V software grabbed everything.

Download the non-user version and the newest dat file.
And....my guess would be to just format after you save all your downloaded data. Start from scratch so you know whats going on your system.

Does PC cillin have an autoprotect thing? What I mean is, Norton has an autoprotect that scans all the time, incoming stuff, outgoing stuff, running apps etc. Is that what you're talking about?
PS I have no idea what I'm talking about, so just ignore me if I sound like a moron.
