I'm going to predict that you've loaded kazaa lite recently, and that you checked the box for the HOST file

I'm right? wow, thats cool

What OS are you using? I'll tell you how to either edit to your likings, or to delete it completely

The maxim site works for me in mozilla(with flash installed).

In aIEeeee I just get the adverts and a box asking if I want to install flash. I expect it would display properly if I did.

You can download the flash pluging from http://www.macromedia.com/

I firmly believe there is nothing usfull on the web that requires flash and I mostly find it annoying. I usually don't install it and just don't visit sites that require it.

i found out what the problem was, it was due to my pop-up stopper program Adsgone, it had an option to stop macromedia ads which was enabled for some reason, disabled it and now all the problems have gone, i thought i would let you know in case anyone else has the same problem

thanks for all the help
