volume reduction

i've got a problem when playing mp3's using QCD, everytime a new mp3 loads the wave volume decreases by about 25% and i have to change it back manually using the volume control settings in the control panel, can anyone tell how i can stop Qcd from changing the volume.

i've got all my volume settings at 100% and i control the level with my speakers

QCD probably has its own volume control which is at 75%. Put the volume up in QCD.

yes it has, i found it now on the skin i was using it had a little slide bar to control the volume which i had missed, i changed back to the default skin and the volume control bar was labeled, everything now works fine
