I have been trying to figure out for the last couple of days how to set up a server client so it can connect with Emule too. Anyaway before I start messing around maybe there is someone who actually knows somethign about this?
I use WinRoute Lite (Windows 98) and there are 2 computers connected to my server computer via a HUB, no not a Router. I tried forwarding port 20 and port 21 (FTP?), but then it only get's very few sources to download from. So my guess is I need to forward port 4662 till port 4672?
-Will that make my Emule on the server computer still run?
-Can both computers connect to Emule at the same time then?

I sure hope somone can give me an anwser, because I tried several forums already.

Ok so you are sucessfully running emule on the computer which has the internet connection and you want to run it on a machine behind connection sharing as well. It works on the NATed machine but it only get's very few sources to download from.

>Can both computers connect to Emule at the same time then?
Yes but they will be sharing the upstream bandwidth so they will get less upload credit each.
You should set each emule client to use differnt client-port and udp-port numbers. eg change one client to tcp 5662 and udp 5672 or whatever ports you want to use from 1-65535

>forwarded port 20 and port 21 (FTP?)

Forwarding is for incoming connections so you have to forward whatever client-port and udp-port is set in emule preferances. Emule dosn't normally listen on 20 or 21 unless you tell it to.

Use the search function in the emule-project.net and edonkey2000.com forums.

Ok thanks, I pretty much got it to work with port 20 and 21 (I set it in Emule preferences) and let WinRoute forward the port 20 and 21 to my other computers IP adress.
I have a 1MB line so sharing the downstream is not a problem =)
