Hi,

I am wondering if there is any way of searching for certain users on Kazaa Lite? Because the user is my friend and I want to get files from him so if you tell me how or something like that that would be great

there was something called KaZaA Peer Client or something like that, which let u download files from a specific person if u knew their IP address, but the program got discontinued...

You could always transfer files via a messenger service, or try a community based program like Filetopia or DC. In filetopia you can create friends lists and download from them without having to join a room, or create a private chat and transfer files while chatting with your friend. Just a thought.

this isnt possible because the usernames in kazaa arent unique. notice how theres thousands of kazaaliteuser@KaZaA and now defaultuser@KaZaA? thats why.

you used to be able to do it purely through putting their IP address and then the port their kazaa runs through, although it doesnt work for me anymore :-( eg.

If I were you, I would just use DC++ and download from him. Currently there is just no way to do it on Kazaa. Maybe when PFT comes out they might come up with a friends list and you can do it then.
