3°/SP1 Question

OK, please don't give me "3° will be full of spyware", "Why are you using a Micro$hit program" or anything of that sort.

I have one question. I'm going to try 3° whatever, nothing people say will change that. However, to install it you need to upgrade to SP1. Good or bad idea?

If you have a ligitimate verison of the operating system like you sort of should have then its no problem at all the service pack has a bunch of updates and fixes that you ought to have.

there are plenty of sources to download SP1, along with a little extra bit which allows you to change your Product Id, then you can easily install SP1 as well as all ither windows updates.

I've got SP1. And lets just say my friend gave me this XP CD. I haven't seen any DRM problems or anything. It's just all of the Windows XP updates in one.
