I have an OLD non-brandname PC with a 6.5GB Western Digital harddrive. I am attempting to replace that smaller harddrive with a 60GB Maxtor that is from another PC (an 2-year-old Dell) and has Windows 2000 Advanced Server on it.
The problem is that I don't think the original BIOS software on my Matsonic MS7070S 2MB motherboard can recognize a IDE harddriver over 10GB. I have the 2001 .bin update for the BIOS, but I don't know how to install it.
Anybody here a whiz with updating BIOS software?
