It really depends on what it is that you want to do. Can you be abit more spacific?

Why does this remind me of "Homeya13" all over again?

Something interesting to point out is Homeya13's alias so to speak is "Grimdevil69" or something like that.

well i will give this person the benefit of the doubt, even though you do seem very much like homeya.
first of all, you need to learn a programming language. this in itself is no easy task. peeps get paid big bucks just to do what you want to do. with that being said, you might want to look into C, C++, or maybe java.

i dont mean to shoot down your hopes, but making a p2p program is somthing that the best of 'em struggle with. its a huge task, usually not undertaken by a sole individule. if you do actually go thru with this, you will spend hundreds of hours learning the language, and countless more writing the program itself.

judging by how you asked the question, i really doubt you are ready for such an undertaking, but dont let me stop you.

I'm a little skeptical now, although i'll know for sure if I see something about how

"Kewl a program is"

Do you know what a easy type of program would be to make? I am just trying to figure out how to make a program and then go from there.

If you want visuals for programming, VB (Visual Basic) would be the best to use. Still, it requires use of the actual language itself, which you'd have to take much time to learn.

The answer is, there is no easy way to do this. Also, creating a p2p program requires a knowledge of the internet and certain protocols (making your own up too if you don't want to use gnutella). That's why there aren't thousands of file-sharing programs.

But, if Vinnie can do it, YOU CAN TOO.

Back to the question. Does anyone know any websites or guides or anything that would help me create a real simple program (don't care what it is)?

Homeya died 2 weeks ago...
terrible... isn't it??

lol...

Man, you must learn a lot of C++ or things like that.... also download the "Resource Hackers" software, you could see and edit the codes of every program.... for you to copy some!!!

But, well.. buy a book for learn lenguajes like C++, SQL, PASCAL, JAVA, etc... ... take it easy, it is not easy to make a program.

Bye.

well as hunter said, it doesnt appear to be him. but if it was, so what? is it that big of a problem? since it is not really clear wether it is or isnt him, i think we should just assume it isnt him and give him a chance. if he starts being a problem, then we can deal with it. but in the mean time, i think he deserves the benifit of the doubt.

a really simple program to make would be a calculator. i'm not talking a scientific calculator or a graphing calculator.... somthing simple. one with basic functions. i have a couple friends that are learning to program in c++ via DOS. so far, they've been making simple programs, such as one that tells you if a # is negitive or not. (yes, i know, very trivial, but its for the expirience).

Thanks to the guys that actually replied. It really helped. I am on my way to creating programs. One thing to remember: Start out simple!
