Hi,
I am very much into my file sharing at the moment. I use Imesh and Kazaa and sometimes WinMX. All these, in my opinion, are great (despite the spyware :mellow ).
Anyway, my question is.... does anyone know of a P2P software programme that searches all other P2P programmes? I.e one piece of software that will enable me to search through all iMesh, Kazaa, winMX etc share folders.
Is there any such programme out there?
Thanks in advance.

There are several pieces of software that let you connect to multiple networks. Even WinMX, which you mentioned, can connect to OpenNap.
Gnucleus is a Gnutella client, and that's all it can search AFAIK.

Cheers doc!
But being a little bit of a novice.... what is OpenNap and what is the best P2P programme to use to connect to it and how do I connect to it??
I currently prefer iMesh - can that connect to OpenNap?
Sorry for all the questions...!

Just wanted point out that 1) winmx dosen't have spyware (nothing that adaware and spybot picks when I run them) and 2)there are clean versions of both kazaa (K++) and imesh available.
Open-nap servers are individual servers hosted by people which limited number of users can log on share with each other. Kinda like a miniture versions of the old main napster server (lot more smaller).
You can connect to open-nap servers on winmx. Look for a a program called Napmx which downloads a list of open-nap servers for winmx.
Sorry, but Imesh does not have have open-nap servers.

Platinum you were a little too late there lol
Anyway, as everybody has stated there are no current apps that can connect to everything. Hopefully, SwapCiety will be able to do it all. I'm looking forward to it..
Try K++ instead of kazaa/kazaa lite
If you want Gnutella stick with shareaza
That's about all I can say to help you out.

Winmx does not have any spyware. It's clean. Some programs claim that they have no spyware but they include cydoor, trying to stretch the definiition of spyware so that they can claim that their software doesn't contain any, despite the fact that you run it and there's tons of popup ads spewing at you and so forth. (Morpheus was famous for this, claiming no spyware and even having a NO SPYWARE logo on their site, yet including browser hijackers, and so fort. ) Winmx does not even any ads or banners. Even if it's not perfect, that alone is a nice reason to give it a try.
