does anyone now where i can find (download)an mp3 utility, file checker. meaning when a song is finished downloading, i would like to check it for clicks,noise,skips etc......
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

i'm not sure whether one exists. phalkon mentioned some program but i can't find it in the forum. i just listen to them all myself cause i don't trust computers:black

As far as I know there is no such tool, however there is a very handy utlity called "MP3Utility" (without the quotes,look for it on google) which will analise mp3 files frame by frame and try to find any 'broken frame' which could cause skips when played.
however it will not find cracks or other weird sounds if they aren't caused by bad frames, anyway I think you should give it a try. it can search your whole library and tell which files are damaged. hope it helps
