What is the maximum number of networks that i can connect to without taking a performance hit? So far I have been connecting to 2. I have heard that if you connect to too many, it can really cause problems on your end. I have a cable modem and am a primary connection in Win MX.

I'd say what you can or cannot do depends on your computer, memory , cpu etc. I myself have a bad habit of multi-tasking like crazy. I download from 2 or 3 sources and listen to music and send email and whatever I feel like doing. I mainly just slow down if my computer gets sluggish. I would probably download from more sources at once if I could but 3 is about all I can manage and still be able to use my computer.
Oh and I usually download about 20 files off each p2p app at one time also.
Just try it and see what you can and cannot do, your system will let you know if your pushing it.
