Ok, after a bit of investigation, hereīs the latest on SoulSeek, dating of yesterday, 9th of February.
This could be of interest not only to SoulSeek fans, but also to anyone intop the politics of P2P and itīs relation to ISPīs : check this out (http://z.cccp.at/soulseek) .

Is the artist in this case completely clueless to the fact that they're potentially incurring the wrath of many, many technically astute people that can make their silly little website do things it's not supposed to?

Further, what's taking you all so long? >;)

Dunno if i'd say more a war then the DMCA getting tested. We get a chance to see it's leaglity enforciablity. Sounds like If they file suit again we can have one of those legal precident cases.

I guess that a lot of people by now think that Soulseek is dead. That's the worst thing that could happen because of conflict. If Soulseek we will back, i'll share all my stuff, but i'm afraid that a lot of old users will decide that its over. As for this......errr....artist...i just wish her slow and painful death. I guess that such thing is not the best way to promote your work, especially if you're skilled in creating crap instead of art. :finger

I don't think they give a gay's gay about their website. The RIAA doesn't that's that for sure, if the worst you can do to someone is post edonkey links on their homepage, I know who is going to be the loser...us!
