Errr!

Ok, So i downloaded a movie (avi, 2 disks, Both XviD codec, ones 700MB's, other is 686MB's)
But, I've had some problems playing them, They will play perfectly but without sound, picture is perfect! (even without the XviD codec, They still will play with the DivX codec)

So i installed just the XviD codec but still no sound, then i installed the Nimo codec pack with everything (latest build) but that just totally fucked up the movie(s) as in, pictures all shit, and i could barely hear the sound but it was there! but whats the point in watching a shit movie, when there could be another way. so i uninstalled Nimo and reinstalled the DivX codec.

But, I need other suggestions on what too do with this video before i try to convert it over to mpeg cuz that takes to god damn long.

so, any suggestions?

You have been here thru all the codec stuff . . . . you're killen me : )

Lookit, use GSpot or AVIcodec to tell you what the audio is, it may be AC3. What ever it is, at least you will know what you DONT have, or isnt registered, and can go from there.

Also, PM me with the title, I may already have that movie ( very likely) and can give you what you need.
