Anybody ever heard of it? long story how I came acorss it, but it looks like the "lite" version of windows, or windows without the crap

They are working on a XP version

Look around the site, it says whats included in the current version, 98lite, they're just gonna do the same thing for xp

They said they were going to make a 2k verion three years ago (http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/archive/9893.html) and its not done so I would not hold your breath for the XP version.

Go to theregister (http://www.theregister.co.uk) and type "98lite" in the search box to see about a dozen storys that have mentioned it with some background about why you would want it and why microsoft dosn't like it.
