Piolet: 1.03 or 1.04???

I personally MUCH prefer the 1.03 version to 1.04, 1.04 just reminds me of Morpheus Preview Edition, scary!! :-)

What do other people think???

Ahhh yes, Morpheus Preview Edition. Just the thought of that brough chills to my spine I don't know how long ago when it was released. Those big, supposedly better icons, and of course let us not forget the glorious ad banner.


So I upgrade to Piolet 1.04 thinking it would just have some connection improvements, and wow, it looks like it has some ads in it, and big a$$ icons. So from then on I haven't used it myself, I dont know about the rest of you.

Anyway, my opinions.

yea ehhhhh i remember morpheus prev. edition, lol stupid crap ... anyway the new 1.04 runs a lil more smoothly on WinMe .... the banner ad doesnt bother me at all, i mean if i had the knowledge to program sumthing like a p2p program i would want a lil money out of it so i cant get my pack of newport 100's as i countinue to improve it , yea yea the buttons are a lil lame but yo there buttons ! lol anyway doesnt seen like alot has happened since the last release but a couple of bugs have been fixed

I have stated that so many times...
No one I know has gotten "kick ass" speeds off of Piolet either

Everytime it might seem like I would be downloading at 50k than i lose the source and it never reconnects to it or to another one and I continue downloading at 5k
When I'm on a cable modem and so many people advertise that this program has such KICK ASS speeds I should have them too... and I dont neither does sock or any of my friends

Well I like 1.04 better because it is more stable and that is about all I like about it but I get kickass speeds... but why do my uploads repeat themselves for hours and hours from the same person (different one for each file) but they finish then they download 4 more of the same song... that needs to be fixed...

go to options then protocol under connection and move both (bandwidth and connections) to the right...

i get like 80k from piolet im on 600k cable. the highest ive ever got on any download was 100k (and that was ONCE from a uk server at about 7am gmt, before america woke up)

Ok, well, I'd hardly call that kickass, because I can get 200Kb, 300Kb, and 400Kb++ using WINMX.

yes but thats kickass for my connection!!!!!!!!

i should get a limit of about 75kiloBYTES, due to the 600k being in BITS not BYTES, and that 80k was in bytes too! so thats pretty kickass! in kiloBITS 80kBYTES is 640k. happy now?
