Hi, I am running Winmx 3.2 with 98se, 256 ram, Pentium 3, 1Gig, DSL. But, as soon as I get 2 or 3 people uploading I start to receive messages that I am running low on resources. I am only using Winmx Peer Network, no programs running in the background, and I am not downloading, also when I move say from transfers to search there is always a delay before the next page appears.This did not happen with 2.6, should I adjust any settings to solve this, any help appreciated.

Are you running a primary connection or secondary to the network? The primary connections takes more resources on your computer.

Thanks Wolfie, I have used your suggestion, and also messsed about with the TCP connections and things are much better. Thank You

You might also want to try a proggie called Maxmem it is available at www.anologx.com
My brother was having the same prob he has a P3 800 with 512 MB ram and a T1 wireless connect as soon as we rigged up the Maxmem the probs ceased he can now run winmx, surf the web, and run other programs with ease
