lets face it people kazaa its a great p2p prog not because its a great prog but it has millions of users on.. kazaa just needs one more little feature and it will take p2p to the next step.. that feature is partial file share like bit torrent.. I mean how many people u know that download a video file and after they get it they delete it? i know a couple.. i dont blame them cuz of their small hard drive.. but do we want these guys takin up our queue slots only to delete it and not havin it long enough to share it? well wit partial file share they would be sharing it as they are downloadin it... people who have tried the bittorrent knows wat im talkin about... well like i said kazaa is great cuz of the users so even if some guy makes the perfect p2p prog (my view of perfect p2p prog) it wont go far cuz no milliions of users.. i bet 2 million users on a prog like this will beat kazaa 4 millions of users..

WinMX has that feature, but it only lets you DL the file if the user who has the file isnt currently downloading the full file.
That would be nice to see on Kazaa, It would speed up my movie downloads.

I think this would be a good feature but only if the file size you are downloading is large (few hundred meg), for an mp3 its pretty pointless as you generally have downloaded it in a couple of mins.
However on the other file sharing programs that have implemented sharing of incomplete files, you'll notice they also increase ques (is that how you spell it?), i.e. winmx, edonkey, emule, overnet.
And as most people go to kazaa to get away of from ques, then im not sure if they would ever implement this feature.

kazaa has already got that feature has had it for a long time now
when ur downloadin a file click on the + beside ur sources and u will see that from some ppl that u r downloading only a small part of the file

No....Kazaa allows you to download a part of a file off different people only if they have the complete file.
It doesnt allow the sharing of an unfinished download.

ProjectFastTrack is looking to incorperate this feature in a MUCH later version of their client, but to do this, they would have to start their own protocol, which would be inferrior to FT, so it would take a long time to impliment
If kazaa did this now, EVERYBODY on the network would have to update to a new version
