since there are so many people on http://www.zeropaid.com, I think that they should make a chat program, that way all of the beginners won't flood the forums with shit. I use to do that, but now i have changed. This way if they make a chat program, we can all share files off of their program. And it won't be illegal like kazaa or shareaza. WE could just search files and chat.:wings :shy :mellow

There has been a lot of talk about this in this past, and I think the answer then had been no, unless I misunderstood. I think ZP is doing fine the way they are, and just for the n00bs to know, there is a IRC channel for ZeroPaid Chat, although I dont know it offhand and I think DALNet is still down the last time I checked. Damn DOS attacks.

But are we not chatting right now? What else do you need?

not really! we are just posting up. I mean a program like Aim, GNC, Paltalk. Where we could actually talk to the person while he is ONLINE and available:wings

thats what im saying. Zeropaid needs to make their own CLIENT for chatting and filesharing. If someone could do this that would be cool. I have tried XSclient. It was ok. WE need something that would fit peoples needs.

said above this topic has been discussed many times, but if you want a place to were you can chat and share files, you can try irc.p2pchat.org, chatting is easy, but if you want to download and share files you gotta know irc pretty good.

danny, don't you mean gcn? Gnc, if that's a diff prog, hmmm... with Gcn, there is a co branding kit that comes with it, I dont know , this could work, but again I dont think zp is just gonna create one from scratch. While I believe it would be nice, there's just so much to choose from.

NO this site is a PORTAL site making a program for FILE SHARING and just saying thats its for "chat" is not going to fool anyone, would be too risky and not really worth it.
As for chat the Java IRC web site plug ins suck and there are always other places like P2Pchat for people to use with programs like MIRC.

Actually...Zeropaid did have a filesharing program at one point. In fact we've had several. We brought Smash The Qube from The Qube to build a Zeropaid filesharing program. After much talk regarding this issue, and after a few releases (which weren't that bad...) we felt we didn't need one. And Zeropaid did have an IRC and as I can tell from here we still do. That's about it...-matt

All I have to say is, you can find some ZP members (as well as other site members) at irc.p2pchat.net port 6667 (that port number changed but I haven't seen a need to use the new number yet). I do not trust the owners of #Zeropaid and #Zeropaid.com and I would not advise any of you to join those channels. If the owners of this site (or hell, even the moderaters) want a channel for it, then contact KayaMan about it at this address: kaya@kayaman.net
However, until that happens (and I don't see it happening since the owners and moderators have not taken any real interest in it), join other channels that are safe and owned by people that are responsable enough to own them. #alternative, #cafe, #x, #xolox, and #blubster are all good examples of this.
You can find more info about it @ http://www.p2pchat.org

Lol, I finnally got the co branded kit to work. What I have done is changed the homepage, and the and loby chat room to zeropaid.com. The only thing I need help with is creating a splash screen, anybody interested?
note: the file must be a .gif format.
