Ad-Aware 6.0

There is a new version of Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/) out and it's better than ever. It has a new sleek interface and scans a lot faster than before. It has an update feature built-in so you can ditch the old Ref-Update. If you're worried about privacy, this is one of the ways you can protect yourself. In combination with Spybot - Search & Destroy (http://beam.to/spybotsd), you should feel protected from prying eyes.

For those who have never heard of Ad-Aware, this small tool scans for the presence of the most common advertising spyware, and safely removes it from your system. I recommend updating your software and checking everything out.

well i'm sticking with Spybot, it gets the job done too. i will use Ad-aware 6.0 too, when the free version comes out.

HexDump
HexDump will allow you to actually view the data of any suspicious file found by Ad-aware through a Hex dump of the file content.
