K++ build 6

anyone tried build 6 of K++? wasn't done by random nut so i'm skeptical!

i dont think it was done by RN, but its good nonetheless. there are some kick-ass features built into the actual program now, such as kazap and an accelerator. it also has a better start page that will launch a number of programs with a click of a hyperlink including datview, avipreview, and my shared folder. you can also access these tools via a new menu in the program.
yada - yada - yada... suffice to say, its worth a download in my opinion.

edit: don't take my word for it about RN doin it... the only reason i said i didn't think so was because its not on the k-lite site, and its hosted on a web1000 site instead.

I like links and tools on "web" page and the incorporated autosearch (with ability to set the time you want between searches) with search page.
So far have only downloaded small files (mp3) and and the speeds have been pretty good. I'll be trying to download larger audio files later tonight and report back.

ya it looks and performs great. but i don't see kazap. the first time i started it, i saw kazap. then the second time i started it with dietk, and i didn't see kazap. then i started it for the 3rd time without dietk, but i didn't see kazap. anyone know why it just disapeared? the spot where kazap should be is just blank.

It's because dietk replaces the CD_clint.dll on startup....KaZap is a CD_clint.dll hack....so dietk replaces it with a blank CD_clink.dll hack on every startup of DietK...

I like it, It's a lot better than the original KaZaA++, the only problems I have with it are the "Auto search more" Whenever I have it enabled it finds nothing! just sits there all day doing a search, but when it's not enabled it works fine.

build 5 was kind of buggy for me, I will stick w/ build 4 for now, it seems to work the best w/ my system, I can do w/ out the extra features any newer builds might offer, I'm satisfied, but I may give it a crack, just for curiosity's sake

I like the new build, it's nice to have all the other crap built into it like the shared folder and the Kazap thing, there are more places to get verifieds too. It still has a ways to go though. It needs to have Peer Guardian built in and avi preview really should be built into the theatre. The ability hop supernodes would be nice also.
