ok, now, what you need to do it, open up nero, go to file, select BURN IMAGE, point it to the ISO/BIN file, and viola there yeah go, one shiney new CD

*EDIT* Krell, you beat me to it, and with alot more detail as well LOL

ok thanks to both of you i think i can handle that..one thing: Krell; are u suggesting(telling) me to save the iso to my Hd first? and if so , WHY?

Does buring an ISO file to a disc Damage it or change it or something???

Thanks again

No, my Burning ISOs .txt file, was how to MAKE your own image, not the one I wanted to pate in just to burn an existing one, I got in a hurry with Ctrl+A Ctrl+C Ctrl+V, wasnt even looking !

You may want to
A: defrag before you burn
B: rename before you burn, make sure you dont change the extention fro .iso . . etc

good luck with it !

umm... am i missing somthing here? where do you think the ISO file IS? did you burn it to a cd by just dragging it on? i would assume that since you downloaded it, its on your HD. either way, just point your burning app to the location of the file be it on cd or HD. if it's on a 2nd cd drive that's on the same IDE cable tho, make sure you burn very slow. if its on your HDD, just ignore what i just said.

they are prettymuch the same thing. .bin is another cd image file, and the site you mentioned is an edonkey verified file site, and peeps download those files off of edonkey and share em on other networks. these files are virtually guaranteed to be the real thing.

Bin files can be anything. you can use many programs to burn them, CDRWin, Blindwrite, Nero........ So when you burn the bin file if its a movie, then you will get a movie, if its a game, you will get a game....etc, ect...... Bin is just a differnt form of compresion, like ISO, or .IMG.

And if you want to add a file to the ISO, or BIN, like the INFO file you will have to get a program to "bust" into the file and add them to it. Most of the time the info file will comtain information on who ripped the copy, and\or the serial number of a game and whatnot.

Krell, Pix.....lol....can always count on someone taking someone else down a notch when it comes to warez crap....thanks made mine as well as Hunter and the rests job easier. ; )

NFO's - Open with notepad via the right click "Open With" command or rename the extension to .txt.

To burn the ISO all you need to do (if it is truly an ISO) is right click and give "Burn CD" a good 'ol fashion click (Easy CD add's this menu). Easy CD should pop up, pop a disc in, hit create or whatever Easy CD calls it....and let it burn. Then just browse My Computer to X:\ X being your CD drive and check the root directory for another NFO or "ReadMe.txt" or something along those lines, it's hard to miss.

Then install/whatever.....and yer done.

if you want not to use your files as iso... there is a passthrough that you can use : download winrar and you can use this soft to unpack all of your file out of the iso.

if you prefer to do like that.... of course

I have a coupla ISO's but they have .EXE after the iso extension (IE: filename.iso.exe). What is the deal with this? Do I have to do something special with it? The reason I ask is because I tried changing the extension, burning it with NERO and the image didn't work.

I didn't know defraging before burning an ISO (or any image file I assume) was important but I guess it makes sense.

Any help appreciated. :fire

Well .ISO files can't be found if you search for "programs" or "software" so some dudes add the extension .EXE. But sometimes they fake that, so it's better to test-burn first.

I think ISO buster deserves mentioning here. It's a pretty nice program. Sometimes winrar can't open them. ISO buster is a nice program for advanced and beginner users.

Yeah also WinISO is a nice program for it.

have a coupla ISO's but they have .EXE after the iso extension (IE: filename.iso.exe). What is the deal with this? Do I have to do

Some of the files listed as xxx.iso. exe are definitely viruses. At first these tended to be much smaller than real cd-images but people quickly learned to garbage fill them to appropriate sizes. don't run them without serious virus protection.

Some of them are apparently supposed to be self-extracting or something but I don't understand how they work.

@Krell..OK i see thanks. hey ive been trying to copy using my keyboard and my mouse's highlight key but i cant seem to get it to

Try using your shift key instead
