What kind of mp3s are everybody downloading these days?

Recent mix CDs...
Contemporary Christian:
Third Day, Mercy Me, Crystal Lewis, Avalon, Mark Schultz, DC Talk, etc.
Crooners:
Sinatra, Martin, Bennett, Connick Jr, etc.
Classic Country:
George Jones, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Charlie Pride, Johnny Cash, etc.
Easy:
Van Moorison, Jimmy Buffet, Gordon Lightfoot, Michael Martin Murphy, etc.
Next will be Itilian tenors:
Bocelli and others.

anything that isn't copyrighted:hole ok so perhaps not. mainly alternative/rock but i like a lot of other stuff as well. soundtracks and classical sometimes.

Nah, it was just a dumb question. If you wanted genres you should have said genres. Don't be a dumbass and get mad when people call you on it.
I'll agree with grab_grab as far as LAME encoded 320s.

who's getting mad? As for dumbasses, you seem to want to make this a personal issue which I don't have time for. So go find someone else to bug.

hey... settle down peeps. grab_grab was trying to be a smart ass (thats how i took it), nothing more than a little humor. you can take it however you want, just don't throw it back. its pointless. you'll just start a flame war. if you insist on flamong somone, do it in a pm. it just degrades the forum for the rest of us otherwise.

I'm agreeing w/ WB on this one, although the thought of a PM flame war just sounds totally pointless, but then again most of them are, O well

Personal issue? Hardly. I just found it a bit cutting of you to make such a remark about grab_grab's sensible answer.

btw I can't get most of the stuff i dl at the local record store, so technicly I'm not stealing, because I heard the stuff i dl on a foren internet station ha, lol

mp3s, mp3s, mp3s...
MP3s arn't even very well suited for p2p, the file sizes are too big. Ogg is much better for p2p than mp3s are. I hope ogg replaces mp3 someday.
