You mean like Area 51 swE? 46.68 Terabytes at this moment.

Sure theres LOTs of them, take my advice, get back in there and figure it out. It will explain itself better than we can.

Try to connect to 3 - 6 hubs, and share 6 or so slots. Be reasonable, give people bandwidth, not 859 bytes per second.

I am usually connected to 150 - 250 terabytes on my hubs at any one time. Just keep finding the ones you can qualify for. Add good ones to your favorites.

Tropical 03 [70GB] - tropical.myftp.biz
[BBB]Tropical 01 [70 GB] - tropical.mine.nu

Those two are the highest share min's I have found, but I have 120gb share. I have searched for share min in the Description of the public hub list but have come up with little.

Can you tell me:

A) Some 100 - 120gb min share hubs (give me a fish)

or

B) How can I find these hubs myself (teach me to fish)

Thanks!

Sorry BlueLieu . . . . perhaps I failed to see how clicking on the Public Hubs icon and looking at the list was a difficult thing. I wasnt indicating that there were LOTS of hubs with 100Gb minimum, thats retarded, he only has 40Gb anyways. There are plenty (big hubs) he DOES qualify for.

I know "get back in there and figure it out" is damn lazy of me, perhaps you can teach him how to scroll thru a list and pick the ones that say 40Gb min , or less. Theres that Refresh button, or the fact that if he is only on one hub, and he gets bumped, then he's now on NO hubs.

So before I come off as sanctimonious and pretentious or elitist, I will let you guys wrap up here.

Well if you intended to stop BEFORE you came off as "sanctimonious and pretentious or elitist" you shouldn't have bothered to post. BTW, thanks for the green light on wrapping up, I was worried for a minute we couldn't proceede without your 2 cents.

I posted a reply to bbb3 directly answering his question with 2 hubs I found matching his request. I then asked YOU directly if you could help me. The answer I got was you didn't want to. Fine.

---------------------------------

bbb3 - I'll post some when I get home. I have found them by sorting the public hubs by # of users, connecting then using commands like "+hubs" or "+network" in the general chat window to get hubs associated with them. The PM I get from the Hub usually gives share mins or other general rules with each hub in their network.

the best part is you can go to those hubs and STILL not find a single moby grape album

sad really

Honestly I just thought you were being sarcastic. It doesnt occur to me that someone who posts here telling someone else how to use DC++, would then ask me if they can find outrageously large hubs. I didnt take you serious at all.

So your fish analogy looked to me like a inference that I wasnt helping bb3 in any way.

I see the same hubs that you see, I didnt order the ACME Pro SR1000 Supa Delux hub finder from Ronco. I click Public Hubs, examine the list, try a few out.

Sorry to offend your sensibilities. I see lots of 5s, 20s, 30s, a few 40s and 50s, the same two 70s. Thats it.

Ok, sorry I popped off :green6. I have looked at the hubs on the pub list and that (along with looking at the hubs in their network) is how I have found the hubs I frequent (tropical mostly).

And I see hubs in your screen shot that are "descriptive" but don't tell you their share min. I though perhaps there WAS something that would poll the share min's somehow and rank them (rather than by the standard # of users).

I will go back to the visit, "+network/+hubs", bookmark, repeat... strategy. BUT that would be a cool prog, one that would profile hubs so you could go to the ones that you wanted. I search for high share mins cause they seem better moderated and (obviously) have more to pick from. Plus less fakers/leeches.
