What sound card would you guys reccomend that's $100 or less?

I was looking at the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! Dolby Digital 5.1, but some reviews have said that it can be a pain to install and get to work properly, something screwy with the drivers.

Nothing wrong with the dolby digital 5.1 Soundblaster LIVE! card.....the real demon is all the extra software that comes with it....my recommendation would be to install the drivers and th sound mixer.

I have had that card for about 4 months now and I love it! Just disregard all the extra crap though. It's bloat ware.:sw

I've had the Audigy 5.1 and that shit wouldn't work w/ my Abit Raid MB, so if Creative can't get their shit straight for all systems they lose some points from me, but I don't doubt that it's a good card, but TB has been nothing but excellent for me, it's less expensive as well, and I've never heard as many peeps complain about it as much as I've heard others complain about the audigy, jus my Op

O yeah it was like $75 back when i bought it, so it may be cheaper now

i recommend this site for all your pricing needs
