I haven't got anything to post yet, but I spent the last four hours playing around in FLStudio again. Man I needed a break from all this text. Study for school by reading text on a screen... post random news stories of varying interest by reading more text on a screen, complain about stupid things and re-reading what I wrote and still somehow not thinking straight on WTF I'm posting. Bleagh! It really gets to you after a while! -.-
If you must know, I decided to go building another remix of an old video game. Let's just say the them song was already really good and it lifted my mood just working with it. ^,^

For some reason, FL studio wont work with my USB mic... It works with all other mics but not my USB mic, I am trying out Sony ACID...Will let you know how that goes soon as I feel like mounting the ISO :-P

That's strange. I thought it would easily pick up pretty much anything. Then again, I haven't used a microphone with the program in years.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I'm discovering my mic isn't picking up anything right now. Will look into this. o.O

OK, have you tried going in to your audio settings and switching to ASIO4All? If not, you have to do that so you can enable audio recording (just remember to switch it back when you are done so you can get an audio input again) I've managed to get my mic to work (just had to unplug, plug it back in and restart FLStudio, but that's probably only a problem on my end)

I have tried ALL!, It seems to be my mic driver isnt up to date, although the Mic works, its driver is outdated...

Weird. The only thing left was going in to the ASIO control panel and manually switching to the USB thing. Beyond that and manually switching the IN option in the mixer, I don't know what else you could do. Even if it is out of date, it should at least be able to pick it up. :\

you might be able to get a virtual machine to get it to work
I hate recording. Such an irritating task.
