I have been having problems making threads on this forum, it seem like every time i log in to make a thread, it will only go to the Title to my thread. Lucky to have made this one after i left a comment on another person thread. Why am i having problems with my threads?

The problem you are experiencing might be related to your browser. I would advise you to turn off 'Enhanced Interface' when posting in the forums.

You can change this setting here: http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/profile.php?do=editoptions

- Scroll down till you see 'Miscellaneous Options'

You will see these options below the heading

- - Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing
- - Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls
- - Basic Editor - A simple text box

I would try basic and see if that fixes the problem. If basic works, try the standard editor.

Good Luck!

In IE9, does it take a really long time to load this page: http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/newreply.php?p=633082

There is a toolbar where you can set font, bold, smilies, links, images which is not visible in IE but it is there in Chrome and FF.

Your right about that, not able to upload any images or anything at all.

Downgrading IE to an earlier version doesn't take care of it either, the problem is in the text editor.

I know it shouldn't be necessary but you should try using different browsers; I am surfing Zp with Chrome just so I can have access to the tools in the toolbar.

As for browsers I rarely use IE but do occasionally use a couple of different IE engine shell type browsers.

But because those browsers use IE core engine then they will exhibit the same unwanted behavior as plain old IE.

Chrome works ok here but still it has it's quirks too.

Firefox is still a good browser overall even though I've personally had this long ongoing love/hate affair with it.

Anyways it's always good to have a backup browser just for cases like this.

I am using a laptop now, my son is in control of his PC. 3 people are online at the same time, which is making my internet slower.

I'm wondering if this glitch is a result of the last vB update. I am unable to put a picture here, due to the glitched text editor, so I will email you a screenshot, Jorge.

Bingo!

Sure seems like that was when the problems first started...

Yeah, I figured as much. I did send Jorge a screenshot. I do hope he sorts this out soon. It's been very inconvenient to all regulars.

hey i just made a post that all was fine at my end, it posted in FF, then i logged out to try IE, from which i can't log in btw, then came back in FF and BOOM! my post is gone!!

EDIT: lol, now i see my previous post. crazy shit.

still, i cannot log in using IE. it says thank you for logging in, redirecting, then goes back to forum home as a guest! not that it bothers me much as i don't use IE, but thought i'd point it out neways :plane::fencing::tape2:

It's all working right now for me. I'm not sure if Jorge has fixed it or if this is one of those lucky times when the editor works. He said today that he would be working on it this evening.

*fingers crossed*

Holy Shit Batman!!!I think I have found away around this crap problem. I tried eveyrthing including logging in as a mod to post something. When that failed, I tried the Compatiblity View on my IE 7. It took a few seconds to respond but by god it worked.
Those who use IE try using the Compatiblity View in your tool bar. If it seems that it is taking to long to load refresh the page.

Your lucky since nothing works for me.

I've tried logging out and back in, cleared my cookies, downgraded from IE9 to IE8, changed compatibility views, and have used different IE based browsers but still the problem persists.

Strange.

The smileys come up but text size, color, etc are still missing. My mistake for not checking it right. The view change does make it possible for me to login and post again. At least it is 100% better for me then a few weeks ago. One thing that is 100% is the mod controls, at least they are good.

hmmm, ZP looks new, and all post text seems to be wrapped. this on FF 7.0.1

EDIT: just came from the political pix thread and it seems that not only text but pix too have to fit in the space allotted for posts. is this to make it mobile device friendly? or is it just me...

crap, even the edit box is tiny
