I have 2 questions which are puzzling me :
1. How come sometimes, when I Whois a user, they have a Transfer Status of "0 of 0 Available", sometimes with items queued, sometimes not? If I overtype 0 into my queue setting, it automatically reverts to 1, so I'm intrigued. I'm a DSL user, so I run a queue setting of 5-10 usually, and I always trash non-sharers. (MXLinx isn't perfect, but it's heading in the right direction, and hey, it's free).
2. Today, when I browsed someone DL'ing from me, he had " 1 of 1 available". I tagged a DL from him, and went to 93 in his queue! I messaged him to suggest his link was screwed, and got a heiroglyph auto-response. Then, as I was watching, my queue entry connected, and the file came across at a respectable 11-12 K/s. I Whois'ed him again and he showed as "0 of 1 Available" with 91 in the queue. When my DL finished, I messaged a thanx, as there was obviously some manual intervention here, and got the same autoresponse. Then a Whois showed "1 of 1 Available" again. His username is Knight007, and he's obviously a Beatles fan, and most of his list is in heiroglyph, so perhaps Far East? I recall Vladd making some observations somewhere about some Japanese advances in queue management......
Any information on either of the above gratefully received...
