I think you wan't, first before all else, the Nemo Codec pack.
Get it HERE (http://www.btinternet.com/~nimosiro/)
That will most likely solve your situation.
EDIT: Also, there is an Audio/Video section in the Zeropaid fourms. Try to post these kinds of questions in that section.
EDIT: Heed all the warnings when visiting the site and installing the Nemo Codec pack to be sure you don't install something you don't need that also might conflict and cause problems.

http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html
Install ONLY the audio codecs from this pack.
Then open the video in VirtualDub.
http://www.virtualdub.org/
Then select "Direct Stream Copy" from the video menu.
Then select "Full Processing" from the audio menu.
Select your audio codec....(IE Mp3).
http://download.softnews.ro:8080/MULTIMEDIA/AUDIO/radium_mp3codec12.zip
Then select "Save As Avi" from the file menu.
Wait while it re-encodes the audio....try playing the file.
