I sure do krell, and most of the time it works wonderfully.
I can play Command and Conquer Red Alert The Aftermath on XP I had to set the installer exe to compatibility with win98 and then after it was installed had to run the game exe in compatibility mode for 98 as well, works good though.
I get the occasional error but not often.
I also run Viper Racing on windows xp running it under 98 as well. So, for me the compatibility option has been a "blessing" from MS
Seems to work pretty good for older games.

i use it quite a bit. remember all those peeps that had probs running kazaa and the whole problem was they werent running it in compatability mode? had to have been 1/2 a dozen of em...

I had a friend who I had to use the compatibility mode with for his Might and Magic 8 to work properly, the other Might and Magics (6, 7 and 9) worked fine without it. Weird.

hmm, never had to use the compatibility wizard...pretty compatible for me.

If your XP is formatted in FAT32 does it really matter?. I dunno,somebody enlighten me.

No it is irrelevant whether you are using fat or ntfs

I use it on occasion, not the wizard, but the compatability mode, its fixed multiple problems for me
