I know this probably isn't a question for this board but if somebody could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I'm trying to install a program or two I downloaded but am completely clueless on how to do it. The ones I have tried to install either don't have a readme or the instructions the are included are written for somebody who obviously knows what the hell they're doing--I ain't that somebody. So if there is a site or message board thread somewhere that could prime me on all this basic stuff I would really appreciate it. I've looked around all the threads and topics on zeropaid but can't seem to find anything that would help.

thanks, tad

Here are the basics....

If it won't open as an .exe file...rename it to zip....don't open as an archive....rename it to ISO and try to burn with EasyCD/Nero/ect.

If it does install/extract ok and your having a hard time understanding how to 'get it free' then just open the .NFO file that came with it to figure out what needs to be done. You can open the .NFO file in notepad/wordpad or whatever txt reader you have laying around. Just maximize the window and you should get a weird/neat looking graphic made up of text displaying the crackers group logo. Within it you should see info about the program/greetz/info about applying said crack....

Not to hard, eh? :wings

Just don't go asking where to find the crack for this or that in this fourm. It's frowned upon.....

Thanks for the suggestions, CCSDUDE, I'll give them a try. And, OVERDO, I may just take you up on your offer (though it could get ugly and not together all that pleasant for ya)

thanks again, tad
