Hi im having some problems with my connection everytime im on the internet and downloading etc... my connection then will just cut off is there anyway i can stop it from doing that? maybe a program i can download? thx.. Deano

Im on bt internet, and using a dial up modem if that helps,

Make sure your modem driver is up to date first. Then, you can configure your p2p client to limit the upload & download bandwidth. Most dialup connections can't go much higher than 50K bits/sec or 6K Bytes/sec, then just split that beteen upload & download bandwidth. From time to time, adjust them depend on you are downloading or not. Have fun!

Digital took the words right out of my mouth about the drivers, you may also want to try tweaking your modem settings. Maybe unplug any other lines connected to the same line you are using to connect to the internet, as this sometimes causes interference. Good Luck
