Is my router slowing down my downloads? If so plz help me.

I need help......ever since i installed Linksys BEFSR41 ver. 2. My kazaa has been downloading really slow and i am using a cable modem. Before i installed the router it was getting speeds from 100-250kbps, and now i get nothing but 1-20kbps. Can someone help me?

Update the routers firmware.....

Most notice an increase in speed once it's been updated.

Edit: May wanna give Kazaa ++ a try if you haven't already. Could just be a rarer file you're after.
