Name three albums that you felt were perfect in there entirety.

Not ONE bad song in your opinion.

Then roll off with 3 of your favorite songs.

My choices would have to be....

(Order doesn't matter)

1 - The Eel's - Electro-Shock Blues
2 - CKY - Vol 1
3 - Sugar Cult - Blueskies

(I'm not gonna go into classic albums...tooooo many to list LOL)

As for songs...

1 - Nirvana - Lounge Act
2 - Mindless Self Indulgence - Bite Your Rhymes
3 - Happy Campers - Puppet Show

(again nothing 'old' listed because I like wayyyy to much old music...lol)

BTW, don't listen to Electro if you're feeling down, it's a REALLY fuckin' depressing album.

I'd go with:

Nirvana - Unplugged in New York
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
AC/DC - Back In Black

Leonard Cohen - Tower of Song
Johnny Cash - Drive On
Barenaked Ladies - Brian Wilson

lol Kind of impossible to narrow the 3 songs down to this.

Albums

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
Eagles - Hotel California
Greenday - International Superhits!

Songs
R.E.M - Losing My Religion
Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
Pink - Family Portrait

I'm sure it will change in next 5 mins, the problem with these things, especially for a genre-hoppers is that they are all great - but in there own unique way - How can I compare Slipknot and The Beatles?

well picking three is hard and I won't try to think of all time favorites as cool things always come down.
so for this week :

just downloaded 2 cd set.

1 - Pink Floyd - Delicate Sound of Thunder (surprised me how good this set is.)

also just downloaded two Richard Ashcroft albums. Of the two I like his first solo just a little bit better. both are real good.

2 - Richard Ashcroft - Alone With Everybody

also just got this and it's different from their other albums. kinda moody and darker, but I like it :-)

3 - Massive Attack - 100th Window

Pink Floyd: Wish you were here.
(i was born to this album, first thing i ever listerned to loved for ever more, Damn hippie parents)

Marilyn Manson: Mechanical Animals
(hated by manson fans as his soft album. But i love it, it is psycolicaly keyed to entrance you to a point of death & then sudenly rushes you with a sence of em-powerment)

Led Zeplen: 4
(someone had to say it)

Songs

Black Sabbath: Warpigs

Dire Straits: Money for Nothing

Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody

P.S. it's my 100th post yeah (took awhile)

Top 3 albums?

Thats the damn thing about Led Zeppelin. All of their albums could best anything anyone could come up with in my opinion. The talent level, the creativity, the lyrics, the overall quality of the music is beyond anything i've ever seen. I am sad for the sheer fact that there will never be a "rock and roll" band(of any variety) as good as them. I can't choose three of their albums, I have too choose them all damn it!!

Best three songs

1.) Led Zeppelin(big suprise) - Thank You

3.) Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird

2.) The Goo Goo Dolls - Name

I'm a fan of Creed. They are a one sound band for the most part, its just that I like that one sound and I never tire of hearing it. They don't best Zeppelin in my album choices obviously. And I couldn't put any of their work above what I selected for individual songs. I have, for some unusual reason, purchsed all three albums released by them including an Import 2 disc version of Human Clay. They are my honorable mention(so go ahead and blurt out the Creed rehtoric I hear so often when dealing with music in these fourms).
